NCAA Survivor With a Fantasy Twist
This tournament benefits Lost Boyz Inc., a baseball organization based in Chicago's South Shore neighborhood. Founded in 2008 by LaVonte Stewart, Lost Boyz uses the power of sport to decrease violence, improve the social and emotional conditions, and provide financial opportunities among youth in one of Chicago's most underserved communities.
In an area of just 2.93 square miles where violent crime ranks in the top 20% of Chicago's 77 community areas and 31.5% of residents live below the poverty line, Lost Boyz provides something rare: structure, mentorship, and a path forward. Through baseball and fast-pitch softball, youth ages 4–24 develop confidence, resilience, and life skills that go far beyond the diamond.
"Our organizational mission is to decrease violence through the power of sport and to help develop and empower young people." — LaVonte Stewart, Executive Director
